Kent - Headquarters & Distribution Centre

Kent, and in particular Folkestone, is where it all started for West Design, and is still our head office, as well as our distribution centre. Over the years we have extended and developed our site on the Shearway Business Park, doubling its warehousing capacity to over 57,000 square feet. With more than 20,000 products in our portfolio, it’s a hive of activity, with hundreds of parcels a day shipping out across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. It’s also home to our Sales Office, Finance Team, Quality Control, HR and one half of the Bray family Managing Director team, Owen.

Dorset - Creative Design Hub

When West Design acquired Design Objectives (docrafts) in 2016, we focused all our Product and Marketing activities in the Dorset site. In 2018, we centralised all our distribution to the Folkestone DC and moved the team to new offices in Verwood, just outside of sunny Bournemouth. The Dorset Design Hub is where we imagine and design over 1000 new products every year. With its in-house photography studio and team of designers we have the opportunity to bring products to market at pace, anticipating trends and collaborating with our customers. It’s also home to our Export Team and the other half of the Bray family Managing Director team, Jo.

Devon - Manufacturing Centre

Our 80,000 square feet site in Plymouth is where we manufacture a vast selection of products, including paper pads, sketchbooks, labels, stickers, portfolios and more. Home to familiar brands such as Stephens, Magic Color and Blick, it’s also where we make a variety of own label products for our customers. Our UK manufacturing capacity gives us enormous flexibility, creating bespoke products and rapidly responding to customer needs. It’s definitely an asset that sets us apart from the competition.
